| Dear Defender, Right whales are on the brink of disappearing from the North Atlantic – but in just moments, you can take action to help save them! These whales are in grave danger: Fewer than 340 right whales remain, with the survivors at risk of being accidentally killed by ship strikes and entanglements in fishing gear. Slowing down vessels in waters where right whales are at risk of being struck and killed will save lives and help give this species a chance at survival. We need your senators and representatives to support a strong vessel speed rule to protect right whales from deadly strikes - and that’s where you come in. I know you care about wildlife.
