Sending more military aid to Israel will not bring peace

Tell Congress to act for ceasefire not for more killing of Palestinians

As salaamu alaykum, Indiana—

The U.S. has sent 2,000-pound "bunker buster" bombs and other heavy artillery to Israel while simultaneously calling for Israel to "limit civilian casualties" in Gaza.¹

This is the kind of dishonesty we are facing from our government.

With more than 20,000 people killed by Israel — two-thirds of whom are women and children — in genocidal attacks on Gaza, we have to stop the U.S. from sending more arms to Israel.²

Tell your members of Congress: No funds for genocide.

Congress is being asked to approve $14 billion in additional military aid to support Israel's continued massacres and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, and they could be voting on this arms package as soon as this week.

In the densely populated Gaza Strip, more than two million people are trapped in a 25-mile narrow strip (4-8 miles wide) and being ordered to move into an area in the South of Gaza one-half that size.

We must act now and flood our members of Congress's inboxes and phone lines to stop the passage of additional military aid for Israel's ongoing genocidal campaign in Gaza.

MPower supporters have generated over 500,000 calls and emails to the House and Senate. And we are making an impact. Because of our collective efforts, 60 members of Congress have called for a lasting and permanent ceasefire.

But we need to do more to put an end to the carnage. Not only is Congress looking to pass supplemental funds for Israel's genocide, the House is expected to vote on a dangerous resolution today that condemns Jewish demonstrators and allies advocating for a ceasefire and equates any criticism of the Israeli government to antisemitism.

Tell your members of Congress to vote NO on military funding to Israel.

Let's remind them that we won't be silenced.

We won't fall for obvious strategies like Biden asking Israel to "limit civilian casualties" while providing more bombs that indiscriminately kill civilians.

Millions of people across the country are demanding a ceasefire in Gaza and calling for an end to the occupation. We need to hold our members of Congress accountable. 

No more funding for genocide.
