Winners Unveiled: 2023 Experience Design & Technology Awards

Congratulations to this year’s award recipients! The editors of Event Marketer have unveiled the winners of the 2023 Experience Design & Technology awards, an annual recognition of outstanding event design and innovative uses of event technology across a wide variety of consumer-targeted and business-to-business events. A panel of brand-side judges reviewed applications across 24 total categories to select the finalists and overall category winners based on a set of criteria that examined the tool or approach, the creativity, the execution and the results—first place (gold), second place (silver) and third place (bronze). Among this year’s gold winners: Amazon Ads and “Amazon Port” for Best Overall B-to-B Environment; Roku and its "Roku City" experience for Best Overall Consumer Environment; Cadillac and the “Electriq Theater” for Best Combination of Event Technologies; and Mercedes-Benz for “Maison Mercedes” in the category of Best Retail Pop-up Experience. The winners were celebrated during a LinkedIn Live on Dec. 13, featuring a lively panel discussion on the elements of the top scoring campaigns, steal-worthy ideas, and what’s on the minds of event marketers for 2024.
