| ✈️ The Federal Aviation Administration is temporarily grounding certain Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft following a report of what Alaska Airlines said was an "in-flight departure of a mid-cabin door plug" on one of its flights Friday. The incident prompted the flight, which was bound for Ontario, California, to return to Portland, Oregon, soon after takeoff. 🌩️ One winter storm system is set to move offshore as another gears up to trek across the country in its wake, bringing extreme conditions with it. On the heels of this weekend's storm, the second cross-country system is expected to bring heavy downpours in Texas by Monday morning, while Louisiana and Mississippi will see the worst of the storm's effects with threats of damaging winds and scattered tornadoes. 🏛️ Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is taking "full responsibility" for keeping the White House in the dark about his hospitalization for days following complications from what was described as a minor medical procedure. The news comes as a U.S. official said White House aides were angered at the lack of information about Austin's hospitalization at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. 🏆 Some of the biggest names in film and television were honored at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday night. Hosted by comedian Jo Koy from Los Angeles' famed Beverly Hilton, "Oppenheimer" and "Succession" were the big winners of the night, taking home several awards each. Check out the full list of winners here. 🎤 In his first interview since a jury found him guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend, Jonathan Majors said he was "shocked and afraid" upon hearing the verdict. "I'm standing there and the verdict comes down. I say, 'How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution's evidence, let alone our evidence?" the actor told ABC News Live's Linsey Davis in an exclusive sit-down interview a month after his conviction. Majors was found guilty of one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment, but acquitted of two other counts of assault and aggravated harassment in a split verdict. He told Davis he plans to appeal.
