Feel Good Foodie

Hi Indiana

My favorite spice that I practically use in all my Middle Eastern recipes is Arabic 7 spice. It's great to have on hand for all your traditional dishes.

You can make my ready-to-go version with:

  • Allspice
  • Black pepper
  • Cinnamon
  • Ground cloves
  • Coriander
  • Cumin
  • Nutmeg

Seven Spice is used in dishes like Beef Kafta and Lebanese Stuffed Grape Leaves, but also also adds depth to all sorts of grains, and pairs well with dishes like Roasted Butternut Squash Soup.

So if you've come across a recipe like my One Pan Chicken & Potatoes and can't find 7 Spice, now you know how easy it is to make your own!
