Click here Monday, 22 January 2024 MEDIA ADVISORY  154th Session of the Executive Board, 22- 27 January 2024  Geneva, 22 January 2024 — The 154th Session of the Executive Board takes place 22  – 27 January 2024 in Geneva. The main functions of the Board are to implement the decisions and policies of the Health Assembly, and to advise and generally facilitate its work. The meeting will convene at 9:30am CET on Monday, 22 January 2022. The working hours will be as follows: Monday 22 January: 09:30-12:30 and 14:30-17:30 CET Tuesday 23 January onwards: 10:00-13:00 and 14:30-17:30 CET The provisional agenda for EB152 and all other meeting documents are available here in six UN languages The public Proceedings are webcast from this page here. There are approximately 45 items and sub-items on the agenda, which is organized as follows: Opening of the session and adoption of the agenda Report by the Director-General (expected at 10 am on Monday 22 January) Report of the regional committees to the Executive Board Report of the Programme, Budget and Administration Committee (PBAC) Report of the Standing Committee on Health Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response Pillar 1: One billion more people benefitting from universal health coverage Pillar 2: One billion more people better protected from health emergencies Pillar 3: One billion more people enjoying better health and well-being Pillar 4: More effective and efficient WHO providing better support to countries Closure of the session KEY MOMENTS: Monday 22 January, WHO Director-General will deliver his report and is expected at 10 am CET Tuesday 23 January at 10 am CET, members of EB will consider the appointment of the Regional Directors for the Eastern Mediterranean, South-East Asia and Western Pacific regions respectively.
