This week also brings
Not the End of the World: How We Can Be the First Generation to Build a Sustainable Planet by
Hannah Ritchie. There are so many books about the environment, and rightly so, but it does present a quandary, because how many can any of us read, and how many should BookBrowse be recommending? This one makes the cut because of the authority of its glass-half-full perspective. To quote Margaret Atwood, it's "an inspiring data-mine which gives us not only real guidance, but the most necessary ingredient of all: hope."
