When it comes to winter sun, you can't beat the Canary Islands. While the UK is shivering in temperatures below freezing, these Spanish islands off the coast of Morocco are basking in the 20s – with golden stretches of beaches, rugged volcanic landscapes and a seemingly endless choice of hotels making them the holiday destination of choice for sun-starved Brits.
