1️⃣ Michigan and Ohio: Republican legislators discuss a complete ban on trans health care In Michigan and Ohio, several Republican legislators gathered on social media to discuss what they are calling the 'end-game' of health care for the trans community. They hope to ban all access to trans healthcare in the latest horrific attack on the LGBTQ+community → 2️⃣ New Hampshire: Democrats block two extreme abortion bans In New Hampshire, Democrats came together to defend abortion rights after Republicans introduced two bills that would have effectively banned abortion in the state. State Democrats celebrate now that these bills have been blocked → 3️⃣ Indiana: GOP legislator flashes gun to high school students advocating for gun control In Indiana, while a group of high school students toured the state capitol to advocate for increased gun safety in their state, a Republican lawmaker flashed the students his holstered gun. This shocking moment caught on video gives insight into the GOP's nonchalant attitude about the need for gun safety legislation → 4️⃣ Oregon Court Watch: State Supreme Court bans GOP members from reelection following their in-session behavior In Oregon, following a six-week-long Republican walkout protesting Democratic legislation, the state supreme court has ruled that members who participated and broke quorum cannot run for re-election.
