If there is one thing that sets me and Learn Jazz Standards apart from others it's this:
I'm a jazz coach (not a jazz teacher).
What that means is I'm here to teach you strategy, not just tactics like which scales or licks to play (which I still do as well).
Ever heard the saying "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime?"
Well, that's what I'm all about.
So today I want to share with you a strategy that my Inner Circle members are using on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis that is producing radical improvements in their playing.
It's called the B.A.D Jazz Solo Strategy.
What I've noticed is when students regularly implement this strategy, their playing improves faster over time.
That's because this strategy includes a continual feedback loop that helps you make pivots in your practice strategy so you can break through musical plateaus and barriers.
I'd love to share this strategy with you, and the best way for me to do it is to vocally explain it to you instead of in writing.
That's why I recently published a 10 minute podcast episode that goes over the B.A.D Jazz Solo Strategy in detail.
Click the link below to give it a listen - just 10 minutes of your time could be a gamechanger.
That link will send you to listen to the episode on our website, but if you'd prefer to listen on your favorite podcast app, click one of the links below - just find the recent episode entitled "The B.A.D Jazz Solo Strategy"
BTW one great way to continuously improve your jazz improv skills and understanding of jazz chords is to join our Learn Jazz Standards Inner Circle!
We learn a new jazz standard together every single month and it's an easy and effective way to take your jazz playing to the next level. Hope to see you in there with us!
