| | Happy Sleep Awareness Week! In honor of the crucial role sleep plays in our health, let's talk about my cozy bed setup. | If you've been around a while, you might remember reading about my sleep struggles over the last 2 years. I've tried eight different pillows, two mattresses, and countless sheets and blankets in all different materials. During this time, I've woken up with aches and pains — and shelled out hundreds of bucks, too. | After what feels like endless trial and error, I'm happy to report that I've finally curated the ultimate sanctuary! Just in time for me to move and start all over again in a new space. 🙃 | Before we take things to the bedroom, here are some other stories for you: | | | | Be well, Morgan Mandriota Newsletter Editor, Healthline | | | | |

| | | How cozy is your bedroom? | How I sleep is a big determining factor of how the rest of my day will go. If I sleep like crap, I'm going to be exhausted, achy, foggy, and less tolerant of whatever comes my way. Basically, when I sleep well, I feel good, which is why I've been on a quest to create a dreamy bedroom that supports my overall well-being. | These are the products I use and love that help give me the best sleep ever: | - Tuft & Needle Essential T&N original mattress in king size because I sleep like a starfish and can't sleep with my partner in any other size bed
- Casper pillows (finally, good pillows!)
- Saatva pillows behind the Caspers for extra support when lounging in bed
- a silk Cozy Earth comforter
- super soft Casaluna jersey cotton sheets
- a pretty green duvet cover from Amazon
- a random black knitted throw blanket from Amazon
- a super old black weighted blanket I was gifted a few years ago
| Curating a cozy bedroom atmosphere is just as important as the products you use. Here's how I achieve it: | - To limit potential distractions, I don't have a TV in there.
- Plants hang in all windows and sit on all surfaces.
- I keep a vase of fresh-smelling dried lavender on my nightstand.
- I have humidifiers and lamps with color-changing mood lighting.
- I try only to use earthy, soothing colors, like wood tones, greens, and neutrals.
| And that's it! The only thing that disrupts my sleep is my cat, who wakes me up for cuddles at 3 a.m. sharp every single night. | | Over to you: What are some of your favorite bedding products? Or, better yet, do you let your pet sleep with you at night? Chime in to wellnesswire@healthline.com. | | | | | | |
| | Hydrate your air | | | | | LEVOIT Dual 200S Smart Humidifier | When I don't sleep with a humidifier on I wake up congested, and my skin feels even drier than usual. I have two LEVOIT humidifiers in my home, including this smart one in my bedroom. It's nearly silent, easy to fill, and has a sleep mode so you can't see its bright display when you're ready for bed. | | | Every product we recommend has gone through either Healthline's or Optum Store's vetting processes.
