| ⚖️ Former special counsel Robert Hur appeared before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday to testify in a public setting to examine the findings of his yearlong probe into President Joe Biden's handling of classified documents that ultimately absolved the president of legal culpability. In his opening statement, Hur defended how he characterized Biden's memory in his report released in February. In a notable exchange, Hur took issue with Democrats' characterization that his report cleared President Biden of criminal wrongdoing, testifying that he "did not exonerate him." Additionally, Hur also said Biden's claim that the president "did not share classified information" with his ghostwriter is "inconsistent" with findings based on the evidence from his report. 🗳️ President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have clinched the Democratic and Republican presidential nominations, respectively, after another round of voting on Tuesday, ABC News projects based on the ABC News delegate estimate.
