| | 🏛️ Former President Donald Trump is facing "insurmountable difficulties" in obtaining a bond to satisfy the $464 million civil fraud judgment, his attorneys said Monday in a new appellate court filing, and the magnitude of which would require him to use real estate as collateral. This comes after Judge Arthur Engoron in February ordered Trump to pay $464 million in disgorgement and interest after holding him liable for doing a decade's worth of business with fraudulent financial statements that overvalued his real estate holdings and hyped his wealth. Trump was also barred from leading any New York company for three years. The former president has denied all wrongdoing and has said he will appeal.
🚨 Jaremy Smith, the suspect wanted in the killings of New Mexico state trooper, Justin Hare, and a South Carolina paramedic, Phonesia Machado-Fore, was captured Sunday after an eagle-eyed gas station clerk called 911, authorities said. He was taken into custody in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, after leading police on a foot chase that resulted in him being shot and wounded by at least one deputy from the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office, according to the New Mexico State Police.
👮 Newly released video shows missing college student Riley Strain briefly speaking with a police officer on the night he vanished in Nashville, Tennessee. Officer Reginald Young came across Strain, 22, while responding to a car burglary on Gay Street, south of the Woodland Street Bridge, on the night of March 8, according to Nashville police. Strain disappeared on the same night after drinking in Nashville's Broadway area, according to police, adding that the search is ongoing.
👑 Kate, the Princess of Wales, is seen in a new video with Prince William as the pair visited a local farm shop over the weekend in Windsor, England. The video, newly obtained by TMZ and shared on Monday, is the first video footage the public has seen of Kate since she was hospitalized in mid-January for what Kensington Palace described at the time as planned abdominal surgery.
