I want to say thank you, friend

Happy Monday, friend! I wanted to reach out to simply say thank you.

When you get to wake up and serve Ohio every single day, it is easy to feel grateful and hopeful for our future.

I'm honored to have the opportunity to serve you in the Senate, and I'm excited to continue our fight for the Dignity of Work.

I'm thankful for every single person who reads these emails and for your countless notes of encouragement and support.

I'm celebrating our grassroots supporters like you who joyfully and passionately stand with us in our shared fight for a better country.

And I'm hopeful the Cleveland Guardians will make the playoffs this year!

But we can't get complacent for even a minute. Because the truth is, I'm facing my toughest race yet to defend this seat and our Senate majority. Experts are calling me one of the most vulnerable senators on the ballot, polls show me in a dead heat with my GOP opponent, and Mitch McConnell-aligned super PACs just made their largest ad reservation in a single state ever to turn the tide against me.

That's why, before I let you go to get your week started, I have to ask: Will you chip in $5 or more now to make sure we have the resources to pull ahead and defend this critical seat? Every dollar helps make sure Democrats can protect the Senate and keep fighting for crucial progress.
