Indiana, here's what working with your new jazz coach will be like

(Only 5 days left to apply for Next-Level Jazz Coaching) Hey Indiana, As I hope you've picked up from my last few emails, we are now accepting applications for our Next-Level Jazz Coaching program.  And one of the most incredible things you receive in this program is a personal jazz coach who is dedicated to your success. That's right - you will get to work with a pro jazz musician who will become intimately familiar with your playing and help you know exactly what to do to improve. While your coach may not play your specific instrument, that won't be a problem - in fact the jazz coach that had the biggest impact on me was a pianist (not a guitar player like me). What you likely need more than anything is jazz-specific coaching, and all of our coaches are pro musicians and educators with decades of teaching and playing experience. Many of them have degrees in jazz and music education and have played with some pretty incredible musicians. So you'll be in good hands! On top of all of this, all of our coaches are trained in the Learn Jazz Standards pedagogy - which means I've personally trained them in our methods and resources so you can have maximum success. APPLY NOW Here's how working with your new jazz coach will work if accepted into the program:    You'll complete a jazz audit for your coach to review. You'll fill out a short questionnaire as well as provide a recording of you playing a jazz standard. Your coach will review it and then send you a video going over it with your next steps.   You'll get weekly check-ins and video feedback from your coach. Using access to a private chat space on our community platform, you'll share videos of assignments or you playing, with your coach up to once a week. Your coach will review it, give you video feedback, and provide you with next steps.   You'll get support with any of your questions.
