Today is Earth Day! As the world reawakens in spring the life-giving abundance of God is all around us.

Many saints have been champions of natural stewardship seeing the deep connection between creation and its Creator. One such saint is our newest addition: Saint Hildegard of Bingen!

A Benedictine abbess and polymath, one of Hildegard's MANY talents was her knowledge of plants and their uses for medicine. She became a well-regarded healer and even wrote a book with all her botanical knowledge!
