More than 70 people are said to be trapped under rubble, emergency officials said. Many schools across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana announced closures or early dismissals Tuesday ahead of the storms. From Monday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon, at least nine tornadoes were reported across four states: three in Oklahoma, three in Kentucky, one in Missouri, one in Indiana and one in Illinois. 🌍 Seven aid workers with World Central Kitchen were killed during an Israel Defense Forces attack in Gaza, the food-relief organization said, adding that it plans to pause its operations in the region. The IDF said in a statement that it was conducting a "thorough review at the highest levels to understand the circumstances of this tragic incident." 🏛️ President Joe Biden spoke on the phone Tuesday with Chinese President Xi Jinping, their first conversation since meeting last November in California. The two leaders were set to speak about climate change, the economic relationship between the U.S. and China as well as progress on artificial intelligence and countering illegal drug flow, according to officials.
