Chef and best-selling author Carla Hall, of "Top Chef" and "The Chew," explores the unexpected roots of popular dishes in American food culture on her new, original Max series "Chasing Flavor." She travels to Italy, Ghana, Turkey, Mexico and more, tracing history, foodways, and cultural diaspora to tell the stories of mainstays such as ice cream, barbecue and chicken pot pie.
Join us for a screening of "Chasing Flavor" at 6:45 p.m. followed by a Q&A moderated by Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden.
