Dr. Baker and J Fotsch join three dads: Jim Towery, Paul Baker, and Robert Hawkins. They discuss the importance of saying "I love you" to your child. Paul Baker states the importance of letting your kids know you're there for them through words of affirmation. "Sometimes you really have to make a point in singling them (your kids) out and telling them how much you appreciate them and how much you love them." We received our paper modules—this six-part video and discussion program is intended to help father-focused leaders start their own Good Dads initiatives in their communities, especially in areas that may not otherwise have access to positive parenting resources. The 5-hour gathering took the board through the program, as many saw it for the very first time. The board is invigorated and excited about bringing this new program to communities around the state!
