Hi, We're in the final stretch of our summer crowdfunding campaign, and we're reaching out one last time to remind our readers what you're making possible when you give to the Dallas Observer.
Before we do that, I wanted to give some context about why our journalism is absolutely critical — especially now. The United States is in the midst of a news and information crisis. Providing reliable resources for news and information, especially extensive election coverage, is more critical than ever. With your support, we can keep local election coverage thriving in Dallas.
When local news thrives, so, too, does its community. Accurate information empowers people, and empowered people make cities like ours a better place to live.
With five days to go, we're just $1,100 shy of meeting our $5,500 goal. The money we raise during our summer crowdfunding campaign will make it possible for us to work with additional writers, photographers and illustrators for extensive election coverage. |
