Hi Reader, Here’s what our editors are looking at today… | | | News: Dave Gonigam – “Election Interference” for the 206th Time Biden administration took several steps to counter what it alleges to be “election interference” on the part of the Russian government. Most of those steps target the state-run English-language news channel RT. The biggest of those steps is a Justice Department indictment of two RT employees, accusing them of “covertly” funding a digital media firm based in Tennessee to distribute ”hidden Russian government messaging” — with the alleged aim of boosting Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Neither the company nor its U.S. clients were named in the indictment, but it wasn’t hard to put two and two together. The outfit is called Tenet Media and its most prominent client is one of the most banal and obnoxious conservative “influencers” — Dave Rubin. Markets: Sean Ring – The Charley Horse Markets Last week was awful, and I’m starting to think the Fed isn’t going to rescue us even if they cut rates a little over a week from now. To be sure, the nonfarm payrolls number missed, but not by much. What started the mess was Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller saying he would "advocate" front-loading rate cuts if that is appropriate. That first rate cut may be a sell signal instead of a buy signal.
