The song we are learning is Love For Sale by Cole Porter!
Take a look:
Love for Sale is a jazz standard composed by Cole Porter in 1930 for the Broadway musical The New Yorkers. The song, originally sung from the perspective of a prostitute, was initially controversial due to its subject matter. Early performances were censored, and the song was even removed from the first act of the show. Today, it's an extremely important jazz standard and a lot of fun to play!
