Continue Reading MEMORIES MADE & LIVES CHANGED AT GOOD DADS SPRING TRAINING CAMP Good Dads 2.0 Within My Reach In Case You Missed It: We welcomed more than 40 father-focused community leaders April 23–25 in Springfield, MO, for Facilitator Training Camp! Leaders from across Missouri came together to learn the best strategies for leading Good Dads 2.0 and Within My Reach courses. It's amazing what we can accomplish when we work together to support responsible fatherhood. Thank you to all our new facilitators! See More Photos TWO NPGD GROUPS CELEBRATE CLASS COMPLETION! On April 21, four fathers completed the Good Dads 2.0 course at the Family Restoration Center in Stockton. Families were invited to attend the final class, and there were smiles abound for the progress these dads have made over the 16-week course. Thank you to Dennis Boeke and Virgil McGinnis for facilitating these classes. Way to go, dads! Five more fathers attended their last evening of Within My Reach classes this week! These Good Dads, who met weekly at Standing by the Door Ministries in Branson, MO, are ready to apply what they learned to the rest of the NPGD program and in daily life. While father-focused leaders in Branson have been serving at-risk dads in the area with Good Dads classes for nearly three years, we are thrilled that the community has recently taken the leap to officially become a Good Dads Community Chapter! Strong Schools is continuing to expand its outreach: Hannibal, MO, had its first Strong Schools event at Stowell Elementary! Plus, Forsyth Elementary had over 60 dads and kids in attendance. We love seeing all of these smiling faces bright and early in the morning! Thank you to our devoted captains and fathers who continue to participate in these events.
