Due to the increase in the Missouri Pharmacy Reimbursement Allowance (Pharmacy Tax), the adjustment to account for the Medicaid-reimbursed prescriptions will be increased effective July 1, 2025. In-state pharmacy providers will continue to receive a professional dispensing fee of $12.22, plus an adjustment to account for the cost of the Missouri Pharmacy Reimbursement Allowance attributable to Medicaid-reimbursed prescriptions. The professional dispensing fee plus the current adjusted amount will total $14.33. Out-of-state pharmacy providers will continue to receive a professional dispensing fee of $8.85. Long-term care pharmacy providers supplying covered drugs to participants in long-term care facilities will continue to receive an additional $0.50 dispensing fee. Read more...

Doulas, We're Listening! Check Out Our Updated MO HealthNet Doula Guide
In January 2025, the MO HealthNet Division (MHD) posted the MO HealthNet Doula Guide. This comprehensive Guide includes definitions, how to enroll as a MO HealthNet provider, how to check for participant eligibility, how to bill MO HealthNet, training resources, FAQs, and more.
We have now updated the MO HealthNet Doula Guide to include the following, and more:
- A user-friendly flowchart to help you determine how to enroll as a MO HealthNet provider
- Additional information to clarify the different ways you can enroll as a provider, and what you need for each process
- A list of information to collect as you prepare to contract with the MO HealthNet Managed Care health plans, so you are ready when they ask for documentation
- What to do if a client is not MO HealthNet eligible
