Dear Reader, In May, the board of directors appointed me CEO of MarketWise, the parent company of Stansberry Research and several affiliated research firms. And I have spent the last several months working on a vision for the company – and for our relationship going forward – as I take on this great honor and responsibility. My one and only ask of you today is that you take a few minutes to see this message about what I stand for – and how I plan to deal with a serious situation that we both confront today: MarketWise CEO Dr. Eifrig's Message to All Readers As you'll see from my message, I am not going to be "quiet" in this role. I'm not going to "keep my head down" and enjoy this role while letting our successful business run on autopilot. That would be the easy thing to do, of course... But I've spent my entire career fighting back against the rotting institutions poisoning American life. Wall Street... our ridiculous health care system... and, often, corporate America and even the U.S. government itself. Today, these institutions' attacks on American retirement – nearly a century in the making – are coming to a head. And you must stand up for yourself. No one else can do it for you. But I promise you this: I will do everything within my power as MarketWise CEO to help. This message explains how. It's essentially my "manifesto" – laying out the tragedy I see unfolding in America today... What I believe you can (and must) do about it... And the major steps I'm taking in my new role as a result. I recognize the tremendous responsibility that comes with this position.
