Striped Delights  We've got our eyes on some eye-catching striped projects, from bold blocks to stripes with subtle shading. The log cabin quilt pattern is a classic, and it looks lovely as a knit blanket. Our Modern Log Cabin Blanket (on our cover) features bold, chunky stripes in different colors, different stitches — and the reversible stitches make this blanket a winner on both sides! Now that you've got something cozy to curl up under, how about something comfy to wear? Like a little variety in your sweater striping? For a first foray into cardigan-making, the Alanna Shadow Stripe Cardigan offers a unique take on the classic striped cardigan, with fabulous visual texture. This project is rated easy, and you could be done in a couple of weeks! Spring is the season of layering, so why not make yourself (or a friend) the Mollie Spring Cardigan?
