Here's why I'm not concerned about the games they play

How closely are you tracking Tesla’s earnings this week? There’s been plenty of chatter around analysts managing expectations – trimming forecasts just enough to manufacture an “earnings beat,” even when results are down year over year.   That’s not the metric I’m focused on. There’s a different data point inside this report that matters far more for what happens after the headline numbers cross the tape. If it shows up the way I expect, it could open the door to a meaningful cash opportunity in the days immediately following the release.
