President Donald Trump threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act in Minnesota.

Why? To quell protests against federal immigration officers. ICE agents have flooded the streets of Minneapolis in recent days, shooting two people and killing one of them.
What happens if Trump invokes the act? We explained here. It would be an extraordinary (and possibly illegal) move that would enable Trump to send U.S. troops into Minnesota.

	A medical examiner may classify the death of a man in ICE custody as homicide.

Earlier this month: ICE announced the death of detainee Geraldo Lunas Campos at a Texas detention camp. The agency said the man was "in distress" and gave no cause of death.
In a recording shared with The Post: An employee of the local medical examiner's office told Lunas Campos's daughter that asphyxia will be listed as the preliminary cause of death.

Science shows very different psychiatric disorders might have the same cause.

What is it? Similar genetic variants. An analysis of millions of records found, for example, that bipolar disorder and schizophrenia share about 70% of the same genetic drivers.
Why it matters: The finding has the potential to change treatment for millions of people, possibly sparing patients from carrying multiple diagnoses that require different medications.

A surprise baby terrapin was born at D.C.'s National Zoo.

The pitter-patter of very tiny feet: The baby was discovered by keepers last summer, just a day or two after it hatched. It still had its egg tooth from the hatching.
A rare joy: It's the first time a painted river terrapin, an endangered species, has successfully bred at the zoo. Now about 5 months old, the little one is doing well.
