In a Nutshell
Many people avoid drinking alcohol for the full month of January, a trend widely known as Dry January. Someone may choose not to drink for many reasons — but no matter the inspiration, the potential health benefits of cutting back are convincing. Stopping for just 30 days can help repair liver damage, reduce the risk of heart disease, boost brain power, and improve sleep, to name a few.
Dabbling with the idea of drinking less? We're here to help you navigate this journey! Keep reading to find tips, resources, and recipes for delicious nonalcoholic (NA) drinks.

Celebrate Dry January with confidence (and NA drinks!)
So, you want to stop drinking — or drink less often — but you're unsure where to begin. Knowing your "why" is a great place to start (and to return to when things get tough). Then, once you're ready to take the next step, keep this advice in mind:
  • Talk about it: Sharing your intentions with loved ones can help them respect your decision and hold you accountable.
  • Change your environment: This could involve removing alcohol from your home, skipping happy hour events, or going out for coffee instead of cocktails with friends.
  • Try stress-reducing strategies: Do you lean on alcohol to chill out? Swap out the booze for exercise, getting a massage, reading, or practicing yoga.
  • Drink mocktails and NA beverages: Plenty of delicious alcohol-free options exist for when you want a refreshing drink after work or at a friend's house.
  • Seek support: If you're having a hard time or want to connect with others in a similar boat, you can join support groups, follow sober influencers, or speak with a therapist.
Remember: You've got this! And if you need support along the way, we have plenty of resources to help, including the ones below.
