Then, after the market closes, Tesla reports earnings.
When macro guidance and a market bellwether collide on the same trading day,
The reaction rarely stays contained in my experience.
Expectations shift. Positioning adjusts.
And price tends to move faster than most people are ready for.
What stands out to me is how calm traders feel heading into this.
Making assumptions that it will all resolve itself like any other Fed day or earnings night.
That is usually where the mistake’s made.
I've been in the markets long enough to know days like that, to know that with timing like this,
Volatility could send the market in any direction.
