Feb. 22nd - Starts at 9am Jeff will share his insights and help anglers of all skill levels master the art of spey casting. Master the roll cast, basic cast, false casting and shooting line with the aid of video analysis. The origins and history of fly fishing along with terminology, knot tying, and tackle selection will be covered as well. Class includes lunch. Two Day Fly Fishing School with Dusty Wissmath Multiple Dates Available: Sign up for 1 or 2 days 2026 Dates: Apr. 18-19th, May 9-10th, May 16-17th, Jun. 6-7th, Jun. 20-21st, Sept. 19-20th, Oct. 24-25th Location: TCO Outdoors - Boiling Springs The first day of instruction will include all activities mentioned in the one day course (see above). The second day will be spent primarily on the lake just outside TCO's door and the stream that it feeds. You will be introduced to riparian ecology, fly selection (matching the hatch), reading water, moving water casts, line management, presentation casts, and aquatic entomology. We will use video analysis of your cast to help improve the mechanics that you learned on the first day.

Enjoy time at the vise, connect with fellow anglers, and sample and learn about handcrafted spirits from Bluebird Distillery as you get ready for the upcoming season. Steve Turrisi shares some of his favorite early spring dry flies for warmer days which will trigger first hatches. In this on the water class, Kyle Curry will explain how to read the water, on the water casting, identification and matching your fly, fly presentation, hook setting, and river etiquette. Almost sold out! Date: Sun. Feb. 22nd | 10:30am - 2:00pm Joe will deliver a deep dive into his proven approach to hunting large trout. He will explore where they live, how they behave, and the strategies that consistently bring the biggest fish to hand. Blue Winged Olives are one our most prolific hatches here in central PA and an important early season hatch. In this class, we will teach you to tie various life cycle phases of BWO's including nymphs and dry flies. Caleb Rebarchak will help you learn to tie up 3 of his favorite baitfish patterns for pre-spawn smallmouth. We will also be discussing techniques and strategies for fishing each of these patterns.
