Hello Indiana,
I wanted to let you know about something new I've been working on.
I've just launched a separate YouTube channel called Chromatic Harmonica School.
The reason for keeping this separate is simple. I know that not everyone who enjoys diatonic harmonica is interested in chromatic - and equally, some people are very curious about chromatic but don't want to wade through lots of diatonic material to find it.
This new channel is a clear, dedicated home just for chromatic harmonica.
I also want to be very clear about what this doesn't mean.
I am DEFINITELY still making diatonic content.
That continues as normal inside Tomlin Harmonica School and on my main YouTube channel. Nothing is being replaced or phased out.
This is simply an extra lane for those of you who have ever thought:
"Maybe I'd like to explore chromatic at some point… but I'm not sure where to start."
If that sounds like you, I'd recommend starting with this video on the new channel:
"Five things you need to know before you start playing chromatic harmonica"
In it, I cover some of the most important differences between diatonic and chromatic - things like warming the instrument up, how the button works, how hard to play, and what to look for if you're buying your first chromatic. It's designed to remove confusion before it starts.

If chromatic isn't your thing, no problem at all. Feel free to ignore this and carry on enjoying the diatonic content as usual.
And if you are curious, the door is now clearly marked.
Happy Harping,
Tomlin
