Great news!
Thanks to the response over the weekend, we now have enough people signed up to guarantee that Chugging Grooves is happening.
The course will officially launch on 1st May as planned.
A number of you asked some excellent questions, so let me answer them clearly here.
Do you need an A harmonica?
I will be teaching and demonstrating everything on an A harmonica. However, the grooves themselves can be applied to any key. If you own an A harp, that is ideal. If not, you can absolutely use C, G or another key and still benefit fully from the course.
Are there backing tracks?
There are no backing tracks in this course. The focus is on building strong, internal rhythm and groove. I will be demonstrating the grooves and showing you exactly how to practise them so that you can apply them confidently in real playing situations.
Can you pay with PayPal?
I am not able to accept PayPal. However, you can pay using all major card brands and digital wallets through the checkout page.
When does the course begin?
The full course will be released on 1st May. I will not be starting earlier. I want the time to build this properly and make it as strong and structured as possible.
Is it live on Zoom?
No. This is not a live Zoom course.
You will receive structured video lessons hosted inside my teaching platform. You can watch them at any time and work through the material at your own pace. You will have lifetime access to the videos, mp3s and PDFs.
Is chugging a good place to start if you have not really learned anything yet?
Yes.
If your harmonicas have mostly been staring at you from the shelf, this is actually a very good way in.
Chugging builds rhythm, timing and comfort with the instrument. If you can pick up your harp each day and comfortably chug in time, that creates a strong foundation to expand into more melodic playing later.
