| | | | George Lucas likes to say, "Sound is fifty percent of the movie-going experience" and not just because it helps sell home theater components branded with his proprietary THX Sound logo. Sound is equally important for video producers. YouTube today is a long way from the platform we remember from the days of yore. The resolutions and sound fidelity on hand are truly impressive and make poor audio even more noticeable and harder to forgive. In this article, we cover everything you need to know about audio for video. | | | | | Common side effects when using ALIBI Music include faster searches, stronger emotional impact, unexpected goosebumps, and a boost of creative confidence.
Additional outcomes may include less scrolling, fewer compromises, and tracks that feel right the first time.

Contact your doctor if none of these features improve your creative workflow, as it may be signs of a larger lack of creativity. If this feels different, it's because it is. This isn't your typical music library.
Use as directed. Results are bold. | | | Today's top stories | DJI unveiled the Avata 360, an 8K immersive drone built around dual Type 1 sensors that capture full 360-degree video at up to 8Kp60 HDR and 120 MP photos, putting it in direct competition with Insta360's Antigravity. A Single Lens mode drops to 4K60p for more traditional gimbal-style shots. The drone works with standard DJI remote controllers or pairs with DJI goggles and the RC Motion 3 for FPV flying, with 1080p60 feeds visible in full 360 degrees through the headset. Flight time tops out at 23 minutes with a 20-kilometer max transmission range, and 42 GB of internal storage handles about 30 minutes of 8K 360 footage. The Avata 360 is available now in China and up for pre-sale in other regions, though it won't be sold through DJI's U.S. store. Google released Lyria 3 Pro, an upgraded music generation model that creates tracks up to three minutes long with structural awareness of intros, verses, choruses and bridges. That's a significant jump from the original Lyria 3, which capped out at 30 seconds. The Pro model is rolling out to paid Gemini app subscribers, Google Vids and ProducerAI, a GenAI music production tool Google acquired last month. Enterprise users get access through Vertex AI, the Gemini API and AI Studio as well. Google says the model draws "broad inspiration" from artists named in prompts without directly mimicking them, and all generated tracks are watermarked with SynthID. The launch arrives as the music industry sharpens its AI defenses: Spotify recently gave artists tools to flag misattributed songs, and Deezer launched a system to help any streaming service identify AI-generated music. LK Samyang added the AF 35mm F1.8 P FE to its budget-friendly Prima series for Sony E-mount, a 216-gram full-frame prime that's roughly half the weight and significantly shorter than the company's existing 35mm F1.4 Prima lens. The optics pack 10 elements across 8 groups, with two aspherical and two new Extra High Refractive elements, paired with a next-gen UMC II coating to reduce flare and ghosting. It's a bare-bones design with just a focus ring, AF/MF switch and a USB-C port for firmware updates, though it does include weather sealing. Autofocus runs on a Linear STM II motor that LK Samyang says delivers faster, quieter performance than previous versions. OpenAI announced it will shut down Sora, its generative AI video creation app, without explaining why. The move torpedoes a three-year licensing deal with Disney that would have let Sora generate user-prompted videos featuring more than 200 characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars. Disney also scrapped plans to take a $1 billion stake in OpenAI as part of the partnership. The shutdown comes just months after Sora 2 launched in September 2025 and drew backlash over its opt-out model for copyrighted content, including a formal demand from Japanese trade group CODA (whose members include Studio Ghibli) to stop using their work for training. OpenAI said it will share timelines for winding down the app and API, and with Sora gone, ChatGPT will also lose its ability to generate video from text prompts. Tamron is raising prices on three of its lenses in Japan starting April 1, with the 28-75mm f/2.8 G2, 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 and 35-150mm f/2-2.8 all seeing significant jumps due to rising material and manufacturing costs. The biggest hit lands on the E-mount 28-75mm f/2.8, which climbs roughly $280 equivalent from ¥104,500 to ¥149,600. Tamron Americas told PetaPixel there are no plans to raise prices in other markets, so U.S. buyers can breathe easy for now. All three affected lenses are older models released between 2020 and 2022, and the hike doesn't touch newer releases like the recently announced 35-100mm f/2.8. Tamron Japan blamed the increases on surging raw material and logistics costs that the company can no longer absorb on its own.
