Grant Applications Are Now Open!

March 26, 2026   Office of Childhood Afterschool Program Two competitive grant applications now open Grant funds can be used for materials, enrichment activities, staff training, facility improvements, and expanding services for school-age children. Early action ensures programs are ready to offer enriching, high‑quality opportunities for students. Applying early for grants to support your afterschool programs helps increase funding chances and gives programs more time to prepare strong applications. Century Community Learning Centers Grant The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) competitive grant application for school-age afterschool programming is now available for the 2026-2029 award period. Awards are subject to availability of funding. Be sure to check back regularly to the Frequently Asked Questions  (FAQ) as any updates, changes, amendments, etc. will be noted there. The deadline for applying is 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026. School Age Community Grant The School Age Community (SAC)  competitive grant application for school-age afterschool programming is now available for the 2026-2029 award period. Awards are subject to availability of funding. Be sure to check back regularly to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) as any updates, changes, amendments, etc. will be noted there. The deadline for applying is 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026.
