Why most people should never hold 3x ETFs blindly

What $10K became over 10 years...

Hey there,

Mark here.

Triple Play is not for someone who wants to buy a 3x ETF, hold it blindly, and hope for the best.

That approach is exactly why leveraged ETFs get such a bad reputation.

When they run, they can run hard.
When they break, they can do serious damage.

That's why Triple Play is built around timing.

See the system here

We're not trying to be in these markets all the time.  We're trying to participate in the strongest up-moves and step aside when conditions weaken.

That's also why smaller accounts can benefit.

Over the last decade, following the Triple Play timing rules:

SOXL: $10K grew to over $637K
TECL: $10K to over $200K
NAIL: $10K to around $180K
SPXL: $10K to around $60K

Buy-and-hold on the S&P over that same period?  Roughly $35K.

Past performance is not a guarantee.  But the point is simple:

Leverage by itself is not the edge.
Timed leverage is the edge.

I'm also doing something with Triple Play this week I've never done before.

More on that tomorrow.

P.S.  You do not need options approval or margin. If you can buy and sell an ETF, you can do this.
