Good Morning! For the most part, yesterday’s rain stayed to a light drizzle for the Lake Placid Concours. The field was outstanding, one of the largest I can remember from recent Porsche Parades. In the end, my father’s ’68 took home second place, missing first by just 0.1 points. Also a big congrats to my father-in-law who took home second in Preservation with his (my wife’s future) 924. An incredible showing, and a huge thank you to everyone who helped get the car ready for the big stage. |

The 964 30th Anniversary Jubilee Edition was introduced for the 1993 model year to celebrate 30 years of the Porsche 911. Produced exclusively for the European market and limited to 911 examples, it was based on the Carrera 4 and combined the naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six with the Turbo’s widebody, polished Cup wheels, special badging, and a commemorative “30 Jahre 911” interior. Buyers could choose from just three exterior colors—Viola Metallic, Polar Silver Metallic, or the ultra-rare Amethyst Metallic—paired with either Rubicon Grey or optional Black leather, making these among the most distinctive special-edition 964s Porsche ever produced. |
This 1993 911 Carrera 4 Coupe 30th Anniversary Jubilee Edition was number 61 of the 911 produced and came finished in Viola Metallic over a Rubicon Grey leather interior. We last saw this car in November of 2024 when it sold for $175,000, but has gone through quite the restoration with over $244,000 in work since then and features tons of great pictures from the process in the gallery. |
Since our Spotlight Car last sold in November of 2024, two other 30th Anniversary Jubilee Editions have found new homes. A 64,000-mile Polar Silver Metallic example sold for $150,000, while a 12,840-mile Viola Metallic over Rubicon Grey car brought $330,000 in March 2025. Our Spotlight Car topped them both, selling at a final bid of $340,964 and setting a new all-time high along the way. Even so, that figure still falls well short of the 2024 purchase price plus the more than $244,000 invested in the restoration. |

Or come check out our DIY guide for making your own 718 PSE exhaust controller for well under $50! |

NOTEWORTHY SALES (AND NO-SALES) |

This 1958 356A Speedster wins the Noteworthy spot, not because it’s been refinished in its original factory shade of Fjord Green, but because of its final bid of $356,356. Love that number. But, at that number, it sold on the lower end of estimates, even with a numbers-matching engine and rare original color. Well bought.
Keeping with the Green theme, this 2022 911 GT3 Touring 6-Speed came finished in Paint-to-Sample British Racing Green over a Cognac Exclusive Manufaktur leather interior and showed 1,900 miles on the odometer. It last sold in March of 2023 at a final bid of $340,000 and 900 less miles. This time around it hammered at $298,000, a bit on the lower end of PTS 992.1 comps. Another one well bought.
This 1997 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet 6-Speed is another one we’ve seen before, but one that crossed the block recently as it failed to sell last month at a final bid of $113,200. Showing just 16,500 miles, it came finished in Arena Red Metallic over a Cashmere Beige interior and looked every bit the low-mileage example it was with hundreds of detailed photos in the gallery including paint meter readings and service records. Unfortunately, it failed to sell yet again, this time at a final bid of $101,000.

If I were starting a collection of PCA Club Coupes, this 2006 911 Carreera S Club Coupe would be the one to start with as it is not only one of just 50 produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche Club of America, but it’s also equipped with a factory Aerokit and shows just six, yes SIX, miles on the odometer. The last Aerokit-clad 997 Club Coupe to cross the block was back in 2023 with a 14k-mile selling for $112,000. I smell a new all-time in here next week.
While not as low as the car above, this 2016 911 GT3 RS shows just 416 miles on the clock. Finished in Ultraviolet over a Black leather and Alcantara interior, this example came well-optioned with PCCB brakes, Front Axle Lift, Sport Chrono, and more. Average prices are up ~$22,000 over the last six months led by a 170-mile example that brought $285,000 last month. This one won’t be there, but expect bids well into the $200s.
This 1958 356A Speedster comes out of 50 years of ownership with the car being acquired by the current owner in 1976. Refurbished in the early 90s, it wears Ruby Red paint over a Black leather interior and comes with a body-colored hardtop and replacement 1.6-liter engine sourced from a LWB 912 during the refurbishment. It also comes with what looks like 50 years of documentation, and I’m sure, 50 years of great stories. With an older repaint and 912 engine, this one should fall in the mid to upper $200s.
