Good Morning! Ok, it’s official, everything’s for sale. I’m taking offers on my kidneys, maybe even my kids. Probably not my arms and legs, though, because I’ll need those to enjoy today’s featured New Listing: the perfect 996 C4S. |

The 987 Boxster Spyder debuted at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show as the lightest Porsche in the lineup and the spiritual successor to the original 550 Spyder. By stripping away unnecessary weight through the use of aluminum doors, lightweight bucket seats, a minimalist manually operated fabric roof, and reduced interior trim, Porsche created a more focused driver's car. Combined with a 320-horsepower 3.4-liter flat-six and available six-speed manual transmission, the Boxster Spyder delivered one of the purest open-top driving experiences of the era. |
This 2012 Boxster Spyder 6-Speed came finished in Black over a Black leather interior and showed 25,000 miles. It was nicely optioned with Sound Package Plus, Guards Red instrument dials, and more. The gallery featured more than 500 detailed photos and the car appeared to be in very nice condition throughout, though things like paint meter readings and service records other than what was on the CarFax were missing. |
Over the past twelve months, 987 Boxster Spyder values have averaged $84,900, with a low of $63,382 and a high of $117,000 for a 16,000-mile Arctic Silver Metallic example sold in April of this year. Comps above the 20,000-mile mark have been scarce, though we did see another 25,000-mile car sell for $74,352 a few months ago. Our Spotlight Car topped that result with a final bid of $81,000. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for the seller. |

Finished in Paint-to-Sample Maritime Blue with a Dark Blue soft top and Midnight Blue leather interior, this 1997 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet 6-Speed showed 36,000 miles and looked to be in very nice condition inside and out with hundreds of detailed photos in the gallery including paint meter readings and service records. But if you immediately thought new high, you forgot about the X51-equipped Riviera Blue example that brought $216,750 back in September of last year. This one landed in a strong second place, though, hammering at a final bid of $158,000.
The last time we saw this 1988 944 Turbo was back in June of 2024 when it sold at a final bid of $18,200. Now with just 1,000 more miles for a total of 32k, this Maraschino Red Metallic over Gray Porsche-script 944 looked to still be in nice condition and came with a binder full of records, although it only had the water pump replaced and an oil change since the last sale. It sold at a final bid of $30,000, not bad for 1k miles of fun.
At 4,600 miles, this 2020 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet was the lowest mileage example we’ve seen over the past twelve months. Finished in Black on Black, it was a nicely-optioned example with an original MSRP of $159,390 and looked to be in nice condition with a gallery full of pics, paint meter readings, and service records. It sold at a final bid of $135,000, missing the twelve-month high by $12k.

O-M-G! This is the greatest 996 C4S I think I’ve ever seen. I’m absolutely in love with the Paint-to-Sample Ice Green over Leather-to-Sample Gray-Green interior on this 2004 911 Carrera 4S Coupe 6-Speed. Showing 30,000 miles, it includes other options such as a Sport Exhaust and Wood and Aluminum interior trim. It may not be the lowest mileage car out there, but with bids at $69,996 and six days left to go, the current twelve-month high of $82k is in trouble.
The front end might give a little bit of a clue as to what engine lurks in the middle of this 1970 914. Refinished in Metallic Green over a Black vinyl and cloth interior, this 914 has been modified with a 2.5-liter 986 Boxster engine and 5-speed manual transaxle. Other interesting modification choices include front brake calipers from a BMW 320i and brake master cylinder reservoir from a BMW E9. A very cool build that will certainly be one to watch.
This 2016 911 R comes finished in White with Red stripes over a Black leather interior with GT Silver stitching and seatbelts and shows 1,900 miles on the clock. It looks to be in nice condition all around, but it’s missing a key option that drives prices: the single-mass flywheel with reinforced clutch. That could keep prices towards the lower end of estimates, somewhere in the low to mid $500s.
