Howdy peeps, I'm back again with some of the best discounts on PC gaming gear myself and my colleagues have spotted this week while scouring the web. The BlackShark headset is particularly appealing with its coupon discount, but there's plenty more besides.
I have something a little different to discuss this week too, though. At PC Gamer we're currently thinking big about where we want to go as a platform, across our site, video, magazine, social, the lot. But we don't want to change in a way that you folks don't want, so we're looking for your input on what you want next from us.

There's little more I need to do than point at the GPU and the price tag here. I don't think we've seen a decent RTX 5080 gaming PC for this price—or possibly any RTX 5080 gaming PC—for quite some time. Sure, you're not getting the fastest CPU, so it's perhaps not for those of you who like really CPU-intensive games, but for everyone else this is great value at the high-end.

This is admittedly far from as luxurious as the latest Viper, the V4 Pro, but it's also just a third of the price. It's battery-powered which gives it great battery life (ideally using a rechargeable battery) but, more importantly, has a shape that many pro players love. The Viper shape is great for claw grip and, in my experience, also for a relaxed palm grip. For this price, the HyperSpeed version is a great option.

I'm a big fan of this mildly anachronistic gaming laptop. It's thick, can be loud, but it delivers on gaming performance and does so for an affordable price tag. The RTX 5070 Ti at its heart is a quality 12 GB mobile GPU, has a 140 W power limit, and if you run it on balanced mode you'll still get good gaming performance without the turbine whine of the fans. This one's got a 1200p screen, which should give the GPU very little trouble, and it comes with a decent-sized SSD, too.

A truly budget way of getting a 1440p monitor, this MSI model has a 27-inch screen, 300 nits of peak brightness, is FreeSync enabled, and has a response time of 1 ms. You may notice some of that price point in the 'fine' 100 Hz response time, but otherwise, this is a solid choice.
