Crowley will face Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany in November. Progressives had better results in Minnesota, where Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan defeated moderate Rep. Angie Craig for the Democratic Senate nomination. Flanagan has called for dismantling ICE and drew support from anger over the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown in the state. |
