Well, we've made it back to California after 12 weeks in Europe, our last stop being the impressive Baden-Baden, its genteel surroundings exactly right for relaxing before the grueling ride home in steerage. Baden-Baden's tourist office is in one impressive building, and you can "take the waters" right there.
We've updated our Baden-Baden coverage to include museums and spa prices (be aware that the Roman-Irish Bath--Friedrichsbad--is scheduled to be closed until the end of July). Martha enjoyed the spa experience, and we expect a full report from her next week.

Mont St. Michel is reached by causeway, the lower towers and medieval sea wall protect a small village capped magnificently by the abbey dedicated to the Archangel Michael. You should really make this part of your France itinerary.
