 | LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- A major sewage spill released about 500,000 gallons of raw sewage and led to the closing of a 2-mile stretch of a Southern California beach, officials said.
The spill was called among the worst in the last two years along the Los Angeles County coastline and could keep the beach in Marina del Rey closed for three days, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.
