Aficionado's Cigar & Wine Lounge

Unexpected duos can often combine to provide exactly what people need: just look at the police work of Riggs & Murtaugh, who knew as far back as '87 that it would probably be best for Gary Busey to be shot. Meet an unlikely pair opening a Buckhead stogie center today, at Aficionado's Cigar & Wine Lounge.
Cooked up by an IT guru and a forensic researcher, of course, Aficionado's is an upstairs lounge for stogie-hounds with large windows overlooking Pharr Rd, dark leather seating, random wall-mounted bronze door handles (left over from when it used to be Loewen Window Center), flatscreens, and a humidor that hosts 150 brands, or "faces", from all over the world, which no one's been able to pull off since the "Black or White" video. Said faces are comprised of Hondurans/Dominicans from Arturo Fuente, Cuban-style Padrons (made in FL), Blue Mountains from Jamaica (aged 12 years in native rum barrels), and Rocky Patel's Nicaraguan torpedoes, which would've been an even better weapon for the Contras than "Spread". True connoisseurs should ask for the Gurkha Triad, whose "rich & creamy" Connecticut sells for $50, and whose $100 Maduro is described as being "like a warm cup of dark chocolate", plus they've also got two 'gars made with a signature house blend: the medium-bodied Candega and the milder Barberpole, which many guests get totally excited about spotting, before realizing it is not, in fact, Wald-Opus X.
They'll have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the 21st, with free cognac, beer, and cigars hand-rolled on the spot. You can even BYOB until they get cleared to pour imported brews & local wines, and can reserve one of 40 handmade Spanish cedar/poplar/mahogany private lockers, which despite how they sound, are not for storing your own Lethal Weapon.
