Facebook tightens grip on word 'face' PALO ALTO, Calif. (UPI) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has taken a step toward granting Internet giant Facebook a trademark on the name "face." Raises for EU officials are calculated by determining average raises for public officials among eight member states from the previous year, the EUobserver reported Wednesday.
