Bono's daughter dating James Lafferty

NEW YORK (UPI) -- Actress Eve Hewson, the 19-year-old daughter of Irish rocker Bono, is dating "One Tree Hill" star James Lafferty, the New York Daily News said Thursday.

The couple, who started dating last month, attended the Leopardstown Horse Races in Dublin, Ireland, Tuesday.

The newspaper said the pair were photographed embracing and cheering in a private box alongside Bono.

Phillippe wishes Witherspoon well

NEW YORK (UPI) -- U.S. actor Ryan Phillippe says he wishes nothing but the best for his ex-wife, actress Reese Witherspoon, and her new fiance, agent Jim Toth.

Phillippe and Witherspoon ended their seven-year marriage in 2008. They have two children together.

"I'm very happy for both Reese and Jim," Phillippe told the New York Daily News in a statement. "I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children."

Jackson estate objects to autopsy special

LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- The executors of Michael Jackson's estate have requested that the Discovery Channel cancel its planned re-enactment of the U.S. pop star's autopsy.

The Hollywood Reporter said Jackson estate executors John Branca and John McClain have written to the cable network and thousands of fans have signed an online petition asking Discovery to scrap the controversial special, which is set to air Jan. 13 in the United Kingdom.

'Despicable' tops U.S. DVD sales chart

LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- The animated comedy "Despicable Me" is No. 1 on the U.S. DVD sales chart, Rentrak reported Thursday.

Coming at No. 2 on the DVD sales chart for the week ending Dec. 26 is "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," followed by "Salt" at No. 3, "Toy Story 3" at No. 4 and "The Town" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Inception" at No. 6, "The Other Guys" at No. 7, "Family Guy: It's a Trap!" at No. 8, "The A-Team" at No. 9 and "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" at...
