S. Korea signs on to UAE crude project ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (UPI) -- South Korea announced Sunday it had signed a major oil-production deal with the United Arab Emirates. The memorandum of understanding carries a potential value of 110 trillion won ($98 billion) based on current world crude prices and gives South Korea a stake in UAE crude-production projects with the potential of 1 billion barrels, the Yonhap news agency said. (UPI) -- U.S. automaker Ford Motor Co. said it would team up with DTE Energy to install solar panels at a factory in Wayne, Mich. The Michigan Assembly Plant, where the Ford Focus is made, will have the capacity to generate 500 kilowatts of power with its solar panels, The Detroit News reported Saturday. Post a Comment | Share | Print Suzuki ATVs recalled WASHINGTON (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of American Suzuki Motor Corp. ATVs due to a fire hazard. About 29,000 Suzuki KingQuad ATVs were sold nationwide from July 2007 through February 2011 for between $6,600 and $9,500.
