From the people who brought you DMK Burger Bar, this contemporary take on the classic seafood shack's a snug 30-seater decked with weathered wood planks and a canoe hanging from the ceiling, and's serving up standards from oyster po' boys to Maine lobster rolls alongside the likes of fennel-and-chili-spiced octopus a la plancha. Being a bar, they're also ready with the drinks, from multi-rum punches to a Campari/orange vodka libation called Sonja Does Sicily, though doing skin flicks probably wasn't the way to go if she wanted dudes to stop shouting "Finish him!"

Madness: Homage
Just in tourney time, the folks at Homage have dropped some exquisitely nostalgic college hoops tees, including one repping '63 champs Loyola, the powder blue "Indiana Has A New State Bird", and a shout out to Louisville great Pervis Ellison, who certainly would have been nervous had he known how his NBA career was going to play out.

Cut: Studio KMO
From an architecture major turned artist, Studio KMO churns out crazy-intricate maps (including a just-completed Chi version) of major metropolitan areas, X-Acto-ing out the land/ water to create a web of streets and highways; there're also stretched canvas numbers composed entirely of thin black stripes, with roads popping out of the negative space, though who can blame the universe's attitude when everyone's constantly talking about how much it's expanding.
