Superman got fat

We've seen plenty of unlikely heroes in recent times, from Captain Sully and his ability to land a plane on something other than a runway, to Antoine Dodson and his ability to land himself on t-shirts, music videos, and everything in between thanks to his ability to run and tell that. For a guy painting the unlikeliest heroes of them all, check out GuavaDeArtist.
Guava's the nom de paint of Ron Howell, who grew up fascinated with comics in Antigua and Barbuda, worked as a political cartoonist at the Antigua Sun, and eventually made his way to Miami, where he's now (amongst other art pursuits) painting portraits of what amount to anti-superheroes, the exact opposite of the all-powerful ones you're used to, unless you read the Forge spinoff, where he just quickly fixed juicers and stuff. Choice anti-heroes include a massively portly Superman-esque dude roasting a chicken with his eye-laserbeams as some feathers fly off it, plus a stouter-than-usual Wolverine smoking a butt as he uses his claws to impale a delicious well-dressed turkey, so just call him Preppin' X. He's also got a gut-addled Flash-type character toting a bag of chips, and a sloppy Batman holding a boomerang in one hand and a footlong sandwich in the other, plus even further outside-the-box numbers including an arm-/leg-bearing squeezable ketchup bottle attacking after getting stabbed with a knife by a similarly humanoid mustard guy -- sadly, the piece doesn't reveal if he did it in the Billiard Room or the Conservatory.
Guava's also got a bunch of KidRobot 1.5ft Mega-Munnies, including one covered in tree bark and wood chips left over from the canvas frames he constructs himself, plus mini-Munny ninjas standing over their disemboweled Munny victim, all available for purchase, so clearly he listened to Antoine Dodson tell him "run and sell that!"
