Officials said Sunday they would allow them to remain in the Capitol in Madison because they were peacefully protesting, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

Elior Chen was convicted in December of beating the victims with clubs and hammers, kicking them in the head, shaking, burning and handcuffing them, and depriving them of food and sleep, Haaretz reported.
He both abused the children himself and ordered his followers to do so. One victim remains in a vegetative state.
