Detroit, MI, United States (AHN) - Charlie Sheen's Torpedo of Truth launched in the Motor City to what can only be called a "less than stellar" opening.

According to TMZ, Sheen opened with a Q&A session and soliciting and answering questions from the audience about everything from fave porn stars to crack cocaine.

London stadium gets Jackson statue

LONDON (UPI) -- London soccer club owner Mohamed al-Fayed has erected a statue of Michael Jackson outside his stadium, and doesn't care who likes it.

Fayed, father of Princess Diana's late boyfriend Dodi Fayed, told Sky News, "Football fans love it. If some stupid fans don't understand and appreciate such a gift they can go to hell."

Judge drops Katherine Ross order request

HOLLYWOOD (UPI) -- A judge in Los Angeles dismissed a restraining order filed by actress Katharine Ross against her daughter, whom Ross says stabbed her with scissors.

Earlier this month Ross, perhaps best known for her role opposite Dustin Hoffman in "The Graduate," filed for a temporary restraining order against Cleo Rose Elliott, her 26-year-old daughter with husband actor Sam Elliott, .

'Hop' hares its way to No. 1 at box office

LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- The animated "Hop," featuring the voice of Russell Brand, jumped to the top of the U.S. box office during the weekend with more than $38.11 million.

"Source Code," a suspense flic featuring Jake Gyllenhaal, was a distant second with more than $15.05 million.

"Insidious," with Patrick Wilson, was a close third with more than $13.49 million.

Wrapping 11th Season, 'CSI' Is 'Like a Battleship,' Says Hall/Derek Hough Movie Part of Explosion in Dance Popularity
